Day 22: I love cooking
I never thought those words would come out of my mouth. But now I find myself wanting to get home so I can prepare a meal.
Separately, phase one and two can be sneaky and leave you with less fiber than you need. Adding a little flax seed to yogurt or smoothie can help.
Day 22 menu:
Breakfast: cottage cheese and strawberries, raspberries, and pineapple. One boiled egg.
Lunch: left over curry chicken- see day 20 for the recipe. One thigh piece.
Snack: spinach, strawberry, raw almond, Gorgonzola salad.
Dinner: basil-tomato tilapia. Original recipe found on the food network. I substituted the olive oil for coconut oil, and it added great flavor. Also, I was out of fresh herbs so I used dried leaves.
I am feeling very motivated, and inspired by all the articles and stories I have found. One google search for maker’s diet or paleo will yield more reading material, recipes, and stories than you can possibly read. Inspiration, it’s out there, but it’s also within.
