Day 23: Don’t go hungry
I think there is something about those Snickers commercials that ring true. When you’re hungry, you’re not yourself and you make bad choices. But when you start the morning with these delicious, filling, healthy pancakes, you are off to a great start. Overall, it was a good day. I let too much time pass between lunch and dinner and was starving but managed to make an ok choice.
Also, don’t forget to pray. I haven’t been praying in the morning since it’s been a little easier, but I’ve also had more cravings to dismiss. Transformation is not just physical, it’s spiritual.
Day 23 menu:
Breakfast: almond flour pancakes. I used coconut milk, saved my dairy for milk in my coffee, and added a little nutmeg and cinnamon to the recipe.
Lunch: Beet, goat cheese salad from Fresh direct.
Snack: Faye natural yogurt
Dinner: Dos Toros Plato with chicken, black beans, tomato salsa and green tomatillo salsa. The chipotle salad is much tastier and healthier but I was too hungry to walk another 6 blocks.
Exercise: 1.6 mile walk.
