Day 27: Ten pounds later
I was so happy when I got on the scale and it said I am 10lbs lighter. I have had my frustrations with the scale not saying what I want. The first time I tried to do this I got totally discouraged because the scale wasn’t moving. There was a day it said I gained a pound. But I learned not to look at the scale but once a week, and if I do look at it more often and it doesn’t say what I want just ignore it. I ignore it because I know that the scale has to catch up to my efforts, results are inevitable.
Day 27 menu:
Early morning breakfast: melon with cottage cheese ( I ate this a couple of hours before my Soul-Cycle class).
Brunch : sweet potato hash and fried eggs. I substituted the sausage for Applegate Farms organic chicken and turkey sausage.
Snack: latte with organic whole milk and a vegan treat from Le Pain Quotidien.
Dinner: angus beef burgers. Organic, grass fed, 90% lean meat.
Today is the last day of phase two!
