Day two ended with this!
Day two was a bit more challenging than day one. It started off with a positive attitude, and ended with delicious Fajitas ( the Maker’s (diet’s) way). In the middle though, I already defeated temptation and made tough choices.
I love pinkberry, and free pinkberry is even more lovable, and that’s what we had at the office today. But I conquered my sweet tooth and had only the strawberries and blueberries, with shredded almonds-yum!
But then came my after-work. I realized that the loose-fitting shirt I was wearing could be confused for maternity wear… Hmmm. So instead of explaining that I am on this life change challenge (a mouthful) or have them think I was pregnant… I just had the glass of wine.sigh. So the no drinking thing will have to start again tomorrow.
Day two menu:
Two boiled eggs with pepper
Strawberry, blueberry, coconut milk smoothie
No snack- breakfast was supper filling and yummy!
Salad with mixed greens, broccoli, shredded carrots, chicken, boiled egg ( I just realized I ate three boiled eggs- oh well), and sunflower seeds. The sunflower seeds added a whole lot of flavor! I added a little olive oil and pepper.
The pinkberry berries only! No yogurt.
Chicken Fajitas. I marinated the chicken with lime, pepper and garlic. Then threw some onions and a tiny little bit of sesame oil on a pan, added the chicken, and a can of steamed tomatoes (no sugar added can) and ta da!
I am still drinking coffee, blah, but having the small cup and with coconut milk. At least it’s organic coffee from Prett.
Bring it on day three.
