Mexican American Opportunity Foundation

The conference convenes approximately one-thousand Latina women of high school and college age for an event that consists of programming and workshops designed to empower young women with the leadership and practical skills necessary to achieve. This forum also provides for women leaders from various industries to share personal accounts of their journey that will educate, enlighten, and inform this next generation as they forge their path. The 2019 lineup includes writer, speaker, and social justice advocate Julissa Arce, Public Administration and Policy Manager Alma K. Martinez, and partner at Make in LA (MiLA), Carmen Palafox. Not only is each woman’s current standing remarkable, but their stories of perseverance are also equally compelling.
